When I told my parents about my minor panic attack, they both shrugged it off and gave me more work to do 🙃
My eldest sibling told me I was being dramatic and self-diagnosing, and how was I supposed to know what a panic attack felt like? IT'S BECAUSE I HAD ONE FOR GOD'S SAKE
I know they mean well, but like...come on, guys. It's not normal for you to not really recognize your surroundings, process things oddly, and freak out and plaster yourself against a wall because you feel like something's behind you -

You know what? I'm going to say it. Trigging content ahead, so be careful.
Eclipse pulled huge stunts regarding committing suicide and self harm, disappearing for lengths of time while we begged her not to. When she returned, everyone welcome her back with open arms and compliments, but she'd broken me and traumatized me. She ignored me for a long time after that, rejecting me when I reached out to help her and snapping at me when I tried to talk. She only opened up to be my "friend" when she needed advice from me. Even though she used and traumatized me, a small part of me still cares. I think that she need some alone time to figure things out, for sure, so that no one else gets hurt.
You know, it's kind of funny. She said that she'd be there for me, but she never was. I still love Cats, but I can't love Eclipse anymore. -
