Just because I have a job doesn't mean that I am going to use my money to fulfill your needs -
I know you've done stuff for me, which is really nice by the way but I DIDN'T ASK FOR IT SO LITERALLY STOP ACTING LIKE I DID
AND PLEASE QUIT "REMINDING ME" TO TAKE YOU OUT TO EAT AND PAY FOR YOU OH MY GODDD -
This is why I literally rejected a goddarn cheesestick and a single nugget
I don't want you to bring it up like "Oh, I gave you a cheesestick and you won't buy me pricy food" like WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU -
I know that I say "It's okay" and "It's fine" but I think that after being friends for this long that you would know me a little better than that?
Or that you would actually be able to read the signs and realize that you are making me really uncomfortable but I don't want to make things awkward by saying so??? -
But what if you say "Oh, you were going to help pay for (blank)'s food, why not me" IT'S BECAUSE SHE DOESN'T BUG ME ALL THE TIME ABOUT DOING IT AND SHE ALSO PROBABLY CAN'T AFFORD IT RIGHT NOW AND YOU KIND OF DRAGGED HER INTO THIS LIKE WHAT

If you invite someone to eat out, they might expect you to pay for them. And if we're splitting the cost, then it won't be so bad on my savings. But if you expect me to buy you a whole MEAL just because you've been begging me for weeks then you are very wrong

I was going to take you out to a pricy café but it was closed so we went on a snack spree instead. But that literally doesn't matter I guess because you waste your money on me even when I say NO THANK YOU because I am trying to be nice and trying to save up money so I can do stuff and because I am trying to be responsible AND BECAUSE I AM TRYING TO KEEP YOU FROM USING IT AGAINST ME
