  Okay so recently I read this book called The Cellar. It was about this girl who got kidnapped and put in a man's cellar with three other girls.
  
  After I finished reading the book, I started having dreams I was being kidnapped. I woke up this morning and thought about how great it would be to be kidnapped. I'm literally wanting myself to be kidnapped. I don't know if I'm the only one who wants to be kidnapped, but since I read that damn book, all I think about is ways I can "accidentally" get myself kidnapped.

  Do you know stories where people have really been kidnapped? They're usually abused and treated badly.

  That book has to be hypnotic-ish. I think the best thing for you to do is realise that kidnapping is actually very unpleasant. The book probably sugar coated it or something else to make it appealing.
  Did anything positive happen to the girl during or after the kidnapping?

  I don't think so. The cellar they were put in was kinda like a normal house underground. They weren't happy, though.

  Exactly. Most kidnapping conditions are actually way more brutal than that. The victims suffer physically, psychologically and usually mentally. A lot of them are damaged for life.
  How was she rescued?

  Police, but not before she watched 2 girls get killed and was raped twice. It took 8 months for rescue.

  It's probably the excitement and thrill. Actually, it isn't that uncommon to want to be kidnapped. You can even pay people to kidnap you.

  True...to work the obsession off, you can act it out, or write about it. That might help.
