Or would you rather know everything, no matter how much you worry?

As confusing as it is to constantly search for the truth, it is a worthy alternative to ignorance. Think about it this way: one ignorant person is not a problem, but what happens when everyone (or simply many) people are ignorant? It creates a lot of problems to say the least. You end up trying to buy happiness with expensive cars or expensive clothing. You end up going to same college as your parents and joining the same clubs and picking the same major and ultimately working the same job. You end up being another cash cow for organized religion. Blissful ignorance is a false form of happiness. It is better to search for truth because even if the answers you find are troubling, at least you can adapt yourself to reality. The blissfully ignorant are constantly at war with reality and will do all they can to stay within their idealized, fantasized conception of the world.
