Homo-Sapiens evolved from Neanderthals whom had around 25x less neurons. -
No, Homo-Sapiens evolved from Cro-Magnons, which were much more intelligent, and outlived Neanderthals by creating tools that allowed them to survive better. Of course, this was back in a time when intelligence decided whether you lived and passed on your genes, or died and went extinct, which doesn't apply in the modern day, since someone who is intelligent and someone who isn't both have equal chances of passing on their genes.
