You know what I don't understand? Why do some people feel the need to laugh at and make fun of people, and avoid them, just because they're a little bit different? There's this kid in a few of my classes. He's can be weird at times, and sometimes a little gross. But he's a really cool and interesting person once you get to know him. And there's just a group of people who keep making fun of him for it. And when he tries to say something back, it always fails, and they laugh more. Sometimes people even record him. How the f--- do you think he feels? About a few months ago, a girl felt sorry that she didn't say anything when he was made fun of. But now, she's avoids him and acts like he's radioactive, not wanting to be anywhere near him. Basically treats him like an alien. What the f--- happened to you feeling sorry for him? And what about the other people who have no feelings, the people who just think that it's "ok" to make fun of him. It's not. It's not f---ing okay. But they'll never get it through their heads. He may seem un-affected by what you call him, but what if he's not? Even if it doesn't bother him, you still shouldn't be making fun of him. I actually had faith in a few people, I thought that they would stop. But they haven't. And if I tell you people to stop, you act like it's none of my buisness. Making fun of him is just sick. It's been going on for a while now, and I have no doubts that it's gonna transfer on to highschool. Hell, I'm not an angel, I laughed sometimes at him. For little minor things. But I stopped. Because I realized that none of it is ok. I don't understand what goes through people's heads when they make fun of him, and I don't think I ever will. But I do know one thing. I will never allow myself to become one of them. It's sick.
And what's great is the girl I was talking about messaged me and said that she would stop, and we were talking about telling this other girl to stop, and idk it just made me smile :) If we can get 2 people to stop, and to stick up for him, I'm sure the other ones will too.
Guys, if you see a kid being bullied, do something about it. Especially if it's been going on for a long time. Say something -
HELL YES!
