UnLoving NewbieDo you see that as a good or bad quality?
-
depends on the context
-
agreed
-
UnLoving NewbieSensitive - Easily damaged, injured, or distressed by slight changes.
-
Okay... that's the definition.. But still not the context.
-
Bad in some contexts, good in others. Being sensitive shows that you care and have strong empathy. But it can also mean you are really easily offended and have a low self esteem.
If I were to tell a really good friend something that was making me upset, I'd want a big hug :) But I wouldn't want them blubbering more than me. I'd be looking for emotional support, I'd want them to look after me- not the other way around. -
UnLoving NewbieI meant it more as they are easily offended and have low self esteem.
I see this as a bad quality I think -
Everyone is going to have some bad days or have some things they're passionate about.
If someone never feels down about themselves then they're cocky and likely to drop you if you ever have a bad day. You'd be harshing their mellow.
If someone never gets offended about or fights for anything than they're usually push overs or apathetic.
Always emotional or never emotional are both bad. Everything in moderation. -
UnLoving NewbieHmm. Interesting point.
I'm a total pushover xD That's why I see being sensitive as a bad quality.
That and the fact that my friends got really upset because a teacher SIMPLY SAID "THERE'S NO FRUIT IN YOUR LUNCH" Whoops caps lock ._. Anyway, she got really mad and I was like "Dude there ISN'T fruit in your lunch; she was just stating a fact!" and she was like "See, no one's on my side!" XD XD XD XD XD WTF!
I was kinda making fun of her over it ("Your notebook is blue. OH IM SORRY DID I OFFEND YOU? I'm so sorry I shouldn't have taken sides on that I'm so sorry!") But I think there are deeper feeling that upset her over it. Does anyone know why she would get so upset over it? -
UnLoving NewbieFriend* not friends
As soon as I posted that I remembered how self-conscious she is about her weight (not that's she's even fat or anything but she isn't anorexic either). Now I understand.
But still "You don't have any fruit in your lunch" isn't offensive XD
Oh she also said "It's all chocolate, no fruit" or something that's probably what made her upset because she thought the lady was telling her she eats too much chocolate. -
Sensitive to the point where its considered a Passive personality, its bad.I think. If that made sense.
I'm pretty passive :c -
UnLoving NewbieIsn't sensitive the opposite of passive...
-
I'm always wrong GAWD.
-
UnLoving NewbieWell isn't passive like you just let things slide by hence the term "pass"?
And sensitive is getting easily offended/worked up/emotional about things?
I could be wayyy wrong though....@.@ -
UnLoving NewbieWait what does this face mean? @.@
