  Ikr my teachers saw me carrying around a French book and started talking to me in French and I explained that I'm only learning the grammar rules right now and they gave me this look like "You're pathetic". WTF you need to know the grammar rules before you can speak the language WTF

  I always make it a rule of thumb to have the first thing I learn how to say in another language be, "Please slow down. I'm still just learning."
