Segregation, separation, hate. These are all inevitable facts of life for the human race. We divide ourselves by ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, race, religion. Anything we can use to separate ourselves. High school cliques are a reflection of the world beyond the confines of adolescence. The queen bees stay the queen bees and marry the jocks. The nerds remain the nerds, the scene kids remain the scene kids, and so on. If you wonder what life truly is, it is nothing but an "Us and Them" proposition. The person who gets along with everyone and crosses all social boundaries is a lie. You will always experience at least one social barrier in your life. I will say that political and religious differences are, for the most part, inventions of man and complete and utter bulls---. If the other person is willing to get around them, so should you. All other division is inevitable, however.

I feel this is true to some extent. However, I have met people who are friendly and do not need social barriers to hold them back from their initial love of making others feel happy. They have their own group of friends, but this does not stop them from leaving the clique and exploring the other people around them. These people are generally respected, for, no matter how one denies it, the people who are outgoing and social, able to make friends with everyone, tend to be images of what others might want to be like. This is partly why they easily venture through various social groups.
I am personally not one of these people, but I know a few and respect them.
