I personally don't think one is worse than the other, at least with the information you've given. It all depends on the circumstances in my opinion.

Anything you do to yourself should not and cannot be called "wrong". It is however wrong to do harm to others. Murder is without a doubt the worst thing you can do.

I feel as though they're both equally wrong, since suicide is the killing of ones self, and killing one other person is pretty much the same idea.

There is only one crime... That is theft.
Everything else is an extension of that.
If you steal something, you are stealing someone's right to that item. You are stealing a store owners right to a sale.
If you hurt someone, you are stealing their right to health. You are stealing the peace of mind of their families and loved ones.
If you kill, you are stealing a life. You are stealing someone's right to a child, a parent, a brother or sister. You are stealing all of the years that they have left in their lives. You are stealing all of the happiness and goodness that they can give others.
It doesn't matter which one's worse. That's all semantics. Before you do anything, whether it be killing, stealing, or even just drinking; weigh how many people your actions will hurt. Then decide if you can live with that.
These are my morals. I don't need a God or laws to fear. I don't need someone else to tell me what is right and what is wrong. If I am not hurting others, then there is no reason to fear it.
As for what's worse? Which one will hurt more people? They're all going to hurt someone. But the extent of how much pain they will cause will always be different. -

My best friend is suicidal. He goes through periods that are worse than others. Every time he gets close to suicide, it scares the living s--- out of me. I also have one friend who committed suicide and one friend who was murdered in a shooting. While I think that murder is a greater crime, I think the pain of suicide is much worse. When it's murder, you know there's nothing you could have done to prevent it because you couldn't have known. When it's suicide, there's a feeling that you could have done something to help. While both are painful, suicide hurts more. At least that's my opinion.
