I'm sorry, I'm just sick of hearing kids at my school labeling themselves as "emo". Don't they realize how utterly stupid they look? They think it's so cool but it's not...
Thoughts? -
It makes them feel like they belong with a group. Like a they aren't an un-loved floating drifter.

Hey,if thats what makes them happy them let them.As long as they're not bothering you.Just kids having fun y'know?
Also.labeling is just another way of describing something or someone,its like someone with a wedding ring,they're married.Someones who plays music is a Misician.A silly kid with too much eyeliner can be described as alternative.
I feel like I'm the ONLY ONE who understands this. -
I think it's kind of annoying when people label themselves. It's kinda more the behavior, but it's odd to describe.

I know some people who call themselves Goth,and they're very smart people.They dress Goth and listen to Goth Music and all that.But they don't mope around or anything,they're pretty friendly people.Same thing with Metalheads.I have yet to meet an Emo kid or Scene kid who actually labels themselves though.

People probably look at me and say 'she likes pop.'
But then I'm rockin the fuck out to Dir En Grey. So I will label myself as a metalhead because, well, it's true. :3 -

I don't use labels since I don't like to limit myself. I guess some would call me a hipster, minus the snottiness. :P My interests generally fit into that category, along with nerd. Oh well, I'm just happiness being myself.

@Cherry Me too. All my friends make fun of me for dressing like a hipster lol. In all honesty, I don't believe in gender, much less personality stereotypes.
