I feel like in my family I'm a disgrace and I'm crap and s---. They laugh at my music considering it to be classified as 'emo'. They listen to rap and such but me the only tomboy, emo, headbanger in the family I'm so called emo.I wear sweaters no matter what so one day they even dared to ask "Are you emo and cutting yourself?" yes I'm emo but in my family it's considered a sin and being a devil worshiper. oh wow....tough family. well....you're lucky you have one....it's just me, my mom, and my annoying sister. my mom is super srict and my sister want's all the attention from me, and she legit hates all of my friends.

You think that? I only have a mother who thinks I'll end up like my friends, failing school. I mean it's them not me. I have different things in my mind we're not freaking twins.

sit them down and have a chat with them about it.just say hey mom hey dad,its not what you think it is,thats just the basic image.like actually show them the lyrics and stuff.theres a lot of christian bands that sound heavy but its just singing about their faith.if your parents are in their 40s or 50s they should know better,rock n roll and heavy metal was pretty big in their time.tell them its who you are and that your just having fun being a kid.the only reason they think that way is because the media portrays it that way.its movies likes the craft and hangmans curse that ruin the whole subject XP everythings not like a movie.haven't they heard of guns n' roses? Kansas? Aerosmith? Iron Maiden? good REAL stuff right there.if i had a kid i rather have them listen to that than the druggy,woman degrading,piece of s--- rap music.
