Thread Topic: guys ive got a legit question

what is your opinion of the people on the other side of the abortion debate? (relative to your opinion ofc)
-
Both sides are conflicted on what they believe and not what they know
One side thinks it's a conscious life being aborted
another thinks it's a not yet sentient being and therefore has no reason to give a not yet being the right of life or there is the "non-ethical" (not necessarily means its objectively bad perspective) perspective that says the right of the mother should come before a child which would anger a libertarian as they would argue "your rights end were another one's is in jeopardy."
There is also the idea that were a mother's life comes before a child which can't have logical argument against it (this is referring to were a mother's biological life is at risk)
The way I see it there is no right or wrong choice as we do not know what the objective case is. I myself am glad I don't have to make this decision in my life.
So, my opinion is neutral. -
I think they have good intentions, but I strongly disagree
-
I think it’s fine to think that. Neither side can get rid of the other since pro-life and pro-choice are always gonna exist.
-
I figure it’s none of my business what a person wants to do with their body they might have a reason weather it be something as simple as they just didn’t want a kid or more complicated. Either way not my business and who am I to judge

I used to think the pro-forced birth side of it had good intentions, that they were just misguided and really thought they were protecting sentient infants.
These days, I still believe that many of the younger ones feel that way. I can't fault children that think that way. They don't know any better. As you get older, however, it becomes your own responsibility to challenge yourself, to learn and become a better person. Past a certain point, ignorance stops serving as a viable excuse. I believe adults that support forced birth are either too lazy to think critically and to question what they've been told and grow, or they're just plain evil. -
i believe at least 90% have good intentions
-
Good intention but they need to stop trying to control other people.
-
Quite a few only care what happens in the moment, and don't care what happens to the child after it's born and I think that's selfish and awful but I think most have good intentions
-
I mean, i think if they genuinely believe its murder it would be really f---ed up for them to just say its none of their business and its just the women's choice.
