What do you all think of abortion?
Which side do you support? -
Being a Christian, I do not think abortion is right.
-
What are your reasons?
-
I'm pro-life. First things, first, I think that abortion is wrong. Some people have said, "Well, what if the woman and child are both going to die if an abortion doesn't take place?" If in that case, the doctors are certain that the woman will die, then this should be the only case for abortion.
The thing is, most of the time abortion is used because people have irresponsibly gotten pregnant and they're trying to get rid of consequences. Often, a human life is chosen over another's convenience.
But then what if others say, "But it's not a human life, it's just a clump of cells! It's just like a tumor, leeching off of the woman's body."
This is all wrong. A fetus is not "just another body part", they have their own DNA and growing body parts. They're unique in their own way. They can recognize their mother's voice, feel pain, and they get heartbeats at an early age. A fetus, by all logical standards and means, is a life and in fact, a human one.
Allow me to quote myself. Yes, abortion can be chosen. Just because it's an option doesn't mean it's right, or morally correct. Stealing, killing, and destroying are choices too. So why do people refrain from doing so?
Because it's wrong. It can be prevented, yes, but it happens and it's wrong. That's my point here.
Is that enough, or should I add more? -
I an pro-choice. Note that being pro-choice is different than being pro-abortion. I do not like the idea of abortion. It makes me sad.
That being said, I support someone's right to get an abortion. I do not care what their reasoning is. The U.S. has hundreds of thousands of kids stuck in foster care or adoption centers that aren't being adopted because- newsflash- many of the people who riot against abortion don't care about those kids once they're born. -
I don't think abortion is right either. I think its not right to kill babies. I think that's actually pretty mean
-
i believe abortion should be legal until the fetus has consistent brain activity, which happens around week 25.
-
Pro choice.
We should feed the aborted fetus to the rats, and grow an army of rats to one day destroy the nation as we know it. The rats will reign supreme. When they become overwhelming in power, we won't be able to kill them, because they have their own body parts and DNA, and they're also surviving outside of a womb. So why would we kill them? That is just morally wrong if you ask me. They have our babies blood in them. We will be forced to nurture the rats as our own, and obey their every desire or command. We cannot stop feeding the rats our chunky dna blobs, because they will die without us and our precious baby goop.
And so, I desire for this future to become reality and we cannot do that without the baby goo. So I say, abort your children. Be pro choice, become the creator of the rat rebellion.
long live the rats. -
I’m pro-choice.
Pro-life people are more like Pro-BIRTH.
They just don’t want to abortion to happen, but that don’t give a s--- once the baby has been born. -
Some of us actually do care. You can't control how we feel. Abortion is just plain wrong, and I will argue with you about that.
-
‘Some’ of us care?
-
What? Does it matter that not all of us do? Again, you can't control how we feel, and I'd like to see you f---ing try
-
It isn’t about ‘feeling’ whether abortion is right or wrong.
-
Well, the thing is, you are basically just murdering an innocent life. How would you feel if you didn't exist right now because someone decided to kill you?!
-
It isn’t murder. And I wouldn’t feel anything, because I wouldn’t exist.
