When you find reasons to discredit a protest like this, all you're doing is showing that you don't actually care about the protest or reasons behind it. When a friend says they're having a bad day, do you automatically respond, "how selfish. So are other people." No, because all you're doing is invalidating your friends experience. ALM exists solely to say that you don't actually care about what is happening to black people.
Systematic racism is still very much alive. Look at over policing of black neighborhoods, compare the number of incarcerated black people and Hispanic people to other races.
Blm doesn't mean other lives don't. -
See, the issue is just that people get so butthurt over nothing and they take everything negative as a direct insult to them. So in that case they cant ever be right or as they say "politically correct" even if they have the right or better stance on somethin.
Its been clear as day for me what the BLM movement meant ever since it spawned (er, what its supposed to mean) and like everything else I try to let grow on me the phrase loses its functionality and degrades into silly talk -
