Thread Topic: So...

The United States is practically in a state of unorganized Civil War. Terrible acts have been committed by all sides. Any thoughts? Maybe how this could be stopped? Who's to blame? What's going to happen next? Any thoughts are welcome.

Nobody's to blame. We are all creatures of hate and war. It is our nature, our terrible nature. We don't try to fight it. If someone's to blame, everyone's to blame.
Violence breeds violence and no matter how you put it, it's never right. -
I can't disagree with that.

I'm not sure exactly what the black community hope to accomplish.
Back then it was easier goals... Ability to vote, end segregation, etc.
Now it's like they just want to be heard, and I think they've accomplished that. It's all over the news and it seems like all states have been made more aware. But is there anything specific they're trying to change?
You can shout black lives matter (and ofc they do), but once you do that, what then? What specific laws can actually be changed? I don't particularly understand what the goals are.
Racism is always going to exist. Idiotic people exist. And laws already do exist to grant black people basic human rights.
And idk since I don't understand what exactly they are trying to accomplish I don't know when things will quiet down again. How much is good enough?
I mean I don't really walk outside and see blunt racism everywhere. I don't see a black person walking around and think "oh he's not going to be allowed to go into that restaurant". For the most part, everyone just kind of does their own thing.
Idk it's hard to see the issue since I'm not physically there I guess?
