I am a right winger myself and not a vegan, but i get really annoyed when people say "I don't care what you do just don't force your eating habits on others." That is a stupid argument because the vegan argument is that animals are just as sentient as humans. Would you say "If you don't like murder just don't murder, don't try to force your beliefs on others."?
The argument for veganism is much like the argument against abortion. People can't just say "If you don't like it don't do it." because we believe it's murder. Vegans and vegetarians believe the same thing with animals. -
I hope that made sense.

Not Gonna Lie, I Don't Really Understand What You Mean, Could You Put It In Simpiler Terms For Us Dumb Folk? XD
-
If they think it's murder it would be morally wrong for vegans not to try and ban meat. Assuming you are pro life it would really piss you off if people said "If you don't like abortion don't do it." That's the same thing we are telling vegans but with animals instead of babies.

I hope i'm making sense now.

While you have a point,
- humans can't even seem to go without murdering each other at the moment. How can you convince them to make peace with another species?
- We didn't kill the animal, someone else did. It's like if you inherit someone's possessions after they die, it doesn't mean you're happy that they are dead. It just means that you aren't letting their life go to waste.
- When vegans, environmentalists, vegetarians, etc get too... er... passionate, a lot of them start to get aggressive making you feel like the scum of the earth for doing something completely natural. No one wants to listen to anyone who's shoving an opinion down your throat, whether the opinion is right or wrong.
- While it's not reasonable to take someone's life based off of and emotional grudge, it's reasonable to eat food because you need the proteins and fats. -
I agree with everything you just said. My point is that we can not just dismiss it with "If you don't like it don't do it. Don't force your habits on me."

Going to be honest, I think your comparisons are a little extreme? There’s a difference between veganism and murder.
Firstly not all vegans/ vegetarians are that way because they are against the killing of animals, I personally know two examples of this.
My uncle who just dislikes the taste of meat and a classmate who follows the diet because it’s healthy.
But getting into the main point, pushing your beliefs onto others goes both ways.
It’s not right to force your eating habits into another person, for a multitude of reasons.
I’m only going to be talking about one, specific to my own experiences.
Alright so I had and ED when I was a few years younger, and for about a month I refused to eat any meat, other than I believe fish occasionally, as a peskitarian(sp)
However this diet was extremely harmful for me at the time considering the amount of energy I was losing, combined with the fact that I had an ED. The reason for this was a youtubers shaming his audiences for eating meat, telling them to die and other s---.
Not all diets will suit, I’m not saying the diet chooses the wizard, but I am saying it’s a personal choice over your diet, you’re not really hurting anyone here. ( though I think quinoa importation is apparently controversial, I’m unsure so don’t quote me on that.)
Murder is an entirely different thing, and to compare it to a diet is actually kind of ridiculous.
For one thing, murder is an actual crime , I’m guessing in every country, because it’s murder.
Actively taking the life of someone else is different.
What you could compare it to is hunting for sport, and then wasting the animal completely, that’s wrong , however human beings need food, we are after all animals ourselves, just at the top of the food chain.
It’s fine that not everyone likes to eat meat, but veganism isn’t an actual issue? I don’t think it’s illiegal.
The problem comes when people try to use their veganism to appear better than others, thats the problem people have with vegans.
Personally I believe that a women should have the right to abort her baby, but I’m really lost on how you’ve brought veganism into the level of abortion and then murder, -
Sorry for that though, I’m kind of tired and really confused.
