So lately there has been a lot of debate going on about homosexuality. Homophobia is very common around that subject. However, I've observed some things that I'd like to point out.
I am a straight Christian.
That's right.
Straight.
Christian.
I'm sick and tired of people all around the world assuming that I'm a homophobic. I'm not. I would never, EVER, harm anyone physically or verbally. But that's not what's been nagging me.
I've often been called boring for not being bi or lesbian, or even trans. Kids give me dirty looks in the halls, and I've been called someone who's secretly gay and is just too much of a p---- to admit it. Within that premises, I've had people at my school grab me and say "We will convert you to the gay."
I don't appreciate that. I'm comfortable with my sexuality. Do you see me over here being like "I will make you straight"? No. That's what I thought.
Another thing is, please back off of my religion. Can I not pray over my food during lunch. I'm sorry if it makes you uncomfortable, but I don't scoff every time you use my God's name in vane. I don't laugh when you state your beliefs. So stop putting down my religion.
One more thing.
I am a female.
I am not a lesbian.
I am not transgender.
I am not a feminist.
I am not a ho.
I am not a slut.
I am not looking for so,e shallow minded guy.
I don't care if you are captain of the football team.
I don't care if you can fit 10 baseballs in your mouth.
I'm not looking for sex.
I'm not looking to broadcast my breast or my butt to the world.
So lay off of me.
Let me live my life.
Cat call me again, and I will slap that smirk off your face.
And stop assuming things.
That's not me.
