With the recent shootings that have happened in the U.S, how do you think gun control, or gun laws should be handled?

I honestly feel like its stupid to put more restrictions on guns becouse of this. Weve put restrictions on guns before, and yet here we are, another attack. What the government should be doing is increasing security and surveillance. Just my opinion though... -
I mean with the shootings, the problem isn't the guns, it's the fingers behind the trigger. If they really wanted to kill a bunch of people, they don't need guns to do it. And if they do want a gun, they'll find one. I don't think gun laws would solve the problem.

Now I'm a supporter of the 2nd amendment yes. I am going to seem biased and I also am going to be as respectful as possible.
Guns... We have had the right to bear arms for approximately two hundred twenty-seven years. Now it did not become a "Major 'common' problem" in schools until years ago. When I say years ago I mean precisely around 2010. So how about we go back in time Shall we?
Back in 2009 and even before that time There was still shootings but they were less frequent in the span of one year. Also, The government wasn't telling parents how to raise their kids and even farther before that Parents were able to spend more time with their family. Nowadays they spend more time at work than with their family. Don't you think that if anybody is to blame it's what the government has created over the past years?
Back then, it was mandatory for an American child to stand and pledge to the American flag and stand for the anthem. Now we Can't say the pledge or sing the national anthem were we, please because it's looked down upon. we don't have the freedom to pray to Jesus Christ or the lord wherever and whenever we want to Cause its looked down upon. We are being stripped of our pride because other people find it offensive and now they think taking away another one our rights is gonna do something good? What happened to fixing our other problems? apparently what they think is the solution to our country is taking away our rights. Now that's pathetic.
Now let's go forward a bit around 2012 or so. I was in middle school. sitting in the cafeteria one morning and then I witnessed somebody pull out a knife and threaten a kids family but guess what? Apparently, a kid pulling out a knife on another and threatening them is not enough to make it on the news. Not once did the government say anything.
I have spoken. -

Confederate NewbieIf anyone wants to kill children, will he really respect the laws pertaining to guns? I am worried that we will put too much restrictions up against hunters and rednecks and lose a lot of support for the U.S Government, which could lead to bad things.
