if you asking me Id say he is pretty much similar except for the most contriversal topics
most his views are the same just not offensive about it
he would still keep us from going to war with russia unlike what hillary would do. -

Arguably not. While he has many of Trump's Nationalist views, he's more focused on changing the culture of America than he is protecting it from outside forces. He's an incredibly fundamentalist Christian, to the point where he believes electroshock therapy works. Things would get worse for the LGBT communities, and better for Christian communities, but everyone else won't notice much of a change. So all in all, I'd be for him.

Tsanchan2 NewbiePence is more polished and professional than Trump, he was an actual governor. He plays up the fundamentalist Christian image, but I don't know how real that is. GW Bush played fundamentalist but he was born a Congeregationalist and became a United Methodist. Neither are fundamentalist churches. Reagan played up his Born Again image, but was Reformed Disciples of Christ (conservative, but not fundamentalist). Even Carter played to that image. Pence is more old fashioned Conservative while Trump is more populist.
