Russia has been making great effort to work with West against common threat of ISIS. We have been sending our military over there while Obama whines like little baby. What Turkey did is a stab in the back, and those supposed good rebels in Syria shot down our pilots with U.S. funded weapons.
I still wish to work with West, but this is not something I will ever take lightly. -
You act like this was surprising.
Everyone knows that if ISIS was destroyed, then the entire American oil economy would collapse almost overnight. Hell, at least half of the oil used to fight ISIS is stolen by ISIS and sold to Turkey, who sell it to the USA. Turkey is, of course, providing intelligence and weapons directly to ISIS because at this point their entire economy relies on that stolen oil. 800 million dollars of oil is no joke. Really, if we want to actually do anything to stop ISIS, we need to start with Turkey and their radicalization.
I mean, for f---s sake, Turkey straight up said they were going to shoot down the jet two days before it happened.
And of course, if Russia tries to actually do something to stop ISIS, then that threatens the entire operation. -
