Modi is the PM of India and his popularity is rising day by day.
So here, discuss about his latest achievements, and your views about him.
It is said that he'ld top the list of Times Magazine 'Person of the year'. -
Sadly, not a lot of us are from India so we don't hear a lot about him. Can you tell us some of his Achievements? I'd genuinely like to hear them.

Narendra Modi, the leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was sworn in as Prime Minister of India on 26 May 2014. He is heading Union Council of Ministers of 45 members including 24 with Cabinet rank.
1.Modi's first major foreign policy initiative of inviting SAARC leaders for his swearing-in ceremony.
2.Modis meeting with Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif.
3.The cabinet constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to recover black money.
4.Modis first speech in Lok Sabha laid emphasis on progress and development of India. He stressed on the need of neat politics, powering the youth with job opportunities and ensuring just development.
5.PM's visit to Bhutan to discuss bilateral relations and economic cooperation and support in regional and multilateral forum.
6.In the first Cabinet meeting chaired by Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister asked all his ministers to make their agendas for the first 100 days in office.
7.Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, not only called upon NarendraModi and congratulated him after his convincing win but also sent his Deputy PM, Dmitry Rogozin, to meet Indias External Affairs Minister and Indian PM. Mr. Rogozin was on a 2-day visit to India.
8. For railways: Wi-Fi to be introduced in A1 and A category trains. Reservation system to be revamped and ticket booking via mobile phones and post offices to be made popular; online booking of tickets to support 7200 tickets per minutes, allowing about 1,20,000 users to log in at the same time; a separate online platform for unreserved tickets and women constables to be assigned to women coaches.
9.With the sixth BRICS summit hosted by Brazil, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made his multilateral debut. When Modi left for the BRICS summit, there was definitely one prime objective on his mind the launch of the new development bank and the contingent reserve arrangement. To a large extent, these objectives have been met.
10. India decided that it would not buckle under the pressure of developed countries and stick to its stand regarding WTOs Trade Facilitation Agreement.
11.Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his maiden speech, made it very clear that violence of any form including caste-violence and left-wing extremities must be abstained from to take the country forward. He describing himself as a Pradhan Sewak (prime servant) Modi called on the global investors to come and manufacture in India. Sell anywhere but Make in India, he said, we have the skills.
12.Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Jan Dhan Yojna that is aimed at financial inclusion of the poorest of the poor.
13. On 2 October, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Modi launched the 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' or Clean India Drive. A special ministry for cleaning the river Ganga was made at the time he made his cabinet.
14.On 17 September 2014, Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in India and several financial MoUs and agreements of cooperation were signed between the two countries.
15.Modi visited the United States in the last week of September 2014, which was described as very successful, leading to a boosting of bilateral relations between India and the US.
16.He emerged as social media savvy politician and since September 2014 is the second most followed leader in the world with over 6 million followers on Twitter.
17.In 2014, he was ranked as the world's 15th most powerful person by Forbes.
18. He visited Australia, since the last PM visited 28 years ago. He also went to Fiji, Mynamar, and for the SAARc meeting in Nepal.
