I simply do the best I can with the information presented to me. I think I speak for a lot of people, however, when I say there really is no dependable source of information anymore, and the Internet just makes it easier to spread lies before the truth can get out. I think about how so many people believe in silly conspiracy theories, but can you blame them? When the agents of truth (the media) are just playing to the lowest common denominator and poisoning public discourse, is there any truth other than what you believe is true?
Life was so much easier when I was just a run-of-the-mill left-wing gasbag. To think independently is to go against the grain indeed.
