How have you evolved? Politically, not biologically, of course.
Like me, I evolved from a laconophile. I used to believe that there should be no private property, but for different reasons than I do today. I thought that this, along with the elimination of economic classes would unite the people, and that all should be trained in the ways of survival and war from the earliest age possible. I also believed that there should be a sort of high council presiding over everything and that no one should be allowed to own more than the other.
This evolved into a sort of Stalinist dictatorship. I took the idea further, but this time decided an all-powerful party should replace the high council. I also began to look more at discrimination and how it should be eliminated- of course, through abolition of classes and property.
Then I dropped the dictatorship, kept the vanguard party, and based it on the idea of common property. This is when anti-discrimination became integral to the ideology and I began to strongly support gay rights as well (I had only weakly supported them before). I was no longer just apathetic toward religion, I was totally against it.
And now here I am. As economically left-wing as you can get, completely against discrimination of all kinds, and only moving more left-wing. Is that even possible? Probably. -
Used to be a diehard liberal, don't really have much of a label anymore because I found that the Democrats were part of the problem as much as the Republicans. I'm kind of a libertarian I guess you could say.
