Lev Davidovich Bronstein, better known by the name Leon Trotsky, was killed today in 1940 by an assassin in the name of Stalin. Trotsky has been demonized as a traitor and a revisionist, but it was Stalin who was the greatest traitor of all time and the arch-revisionist. Stalin slaughtered millions under his twisted version of "Marxism," caused the failure of the Soviet Union (to a degree, Stalin was not the only factor but he was a major one), and reversed many of the social and economic advances made by Lenin and Trotsky in what Trotsky would have called a "Thermidor." And as Trotsky would have also said, Stalin was the Gravedigger of the Revolution.
Long live Trotsky. One of the greatest Marxists of all time. -
