Actually, there is a sense in fighting it. Racism, sexism, everything. Alone, you're right. Fighting the masses will amount to nothing. But it's working with other people, and making your voice louder and harder to ignore that makes what you have to say influential.
So to those people out there who still fight, thank you. You are aiding to the voice and are actively trying to change the world for the better.
For those of you who are sitting back, passively downing others who are trying to make history, I only have one thing to say to you. You're already being useless. So either shut up, or join a cause. -
Realistically though, some things just won't change.
-
How do you KNOW they won't change?
The only way change ever comes about is through the people working together and rising up against the problem.
Not fighting, you have a 100% chance of failure. Fighting, you at least have some semblance of a chance of success. -

This Is Matt Newbie*sigh* Bob, things won't change for a LONG time. We might as well deal with it and ignore it, try to make them change makes them want to do it more.

Instead of trying to stop the asses from, well, being asses to people, we should teach people to tolerate asses. If someone is a mean person, they're always going to be an ass and we enter just get used to it.
When you think about it, they're all just being an ass because they're an ass.
Yet it hurts our feelings somehow
They're not even offending us. They're just being an ass because they have no other life. -

Damask, I completely agree with you :)
Although we wish for people to stop being bullies, it's highly unlikely that they will change. Whilst their life is 'stuffed up', they will continue to harass others in order to make themself feel inferior. But when these bullies call their victims cowards for not having a fist fight, it is merely the bully who is the coward- every single time.
When we tell them it's wrong, even give them examples where victims were pushed so far that they saw suicide as the only escape option, the bullies hardly care. They may say they're sorry for being horrible, but are they really? NO! They do it again, and again, and again!!
It is extremely important to speek to the victims of bullying and teach them ways to deal with the bullying so they can ease their pain. -
