I don't agree with the verdict in this case. I think Zimmerman is clearly guilty of murdering Trayvon Martin and got off because Trayvon was black and Zimmerman's defense made it look like Trayvon attacked Zimmerman when he was actually fighting back. But what everyone needs to remember is that this is one individual case. All the black people who are understandably angry need to remember that Zimmerman is one man and that choosing to demonize all white people for a cowardly act committed by one is not the correct thing to do. So there you go. Let's all get on with our lives instead of acting like victims and hating each other.

Race issue aside, Zimmerman should go to jail because what he did was illegal. He followed someone who he assumed was a criminal for "walking suspiciously." He had no proof that Martin was up to no good. And then he approached the kid which probably scared him, and ended up shooting him. If he had just called the police and stayed in his car, which is what you're supposed to do if you see "suspicious activity," there would be no case, no dead people, and everyone could get on with their lives.

None of this has any bearing on any of our lives. It is something the media is using to distract us from the real issues. Everyone just needs to get over it and move on.

Tongue- I highly concur with your statement. George Zimmerman is indeed guilty of Trayvon Martin's murder. According to the case, Zimmerman called 911. The operator on the other end of the line specifically instructed him NOT to follow Trayvon, but he did anyway. Like my mother said about Zimmerman: "a fool with a gun". He truly IS a fool with a gun.
