  Do we have the ability to say and believe as we choose? The first amendment is often brought up as it protects those rights, and indeed we technically can in the legal sense. but certain people feel as if their belief is biased against or unfairly represented, whether it be by stereotype, history, or a few asswipes doing terrible crap while claiming to hold the opinion.

  People are allowed to spread ridiculous theories about the president being born in Kenya and about the gov't orchestrating the massacres at Aurora and Newtown. I wouldn't necessarily say we have total free speech in this country, but we definitely have the right to stupid speech.
