Wesley sat inside the cupboard and listened, making sure to stay silent as possible.
-
It was the mother, coming in and sitting on the edge of the bed. "Hello, Lucas. I was wondering if I could talk to you about something..." "Sure, what is it?" Lucas sat down as well, to listen. His mother wasn't very good with English, so her words turned into the Dutch. Lucas responded back to her in Dutch, sounding like she was trying to calm her down. This went on for a couple moments.
-
Wesley had noises what they were saying so he just sat there, hoping everything was okay.
-
Finally the mother calmed down, and seemed to say goodbye for the night. When she left and the door shut, Lucas went back to the cupboard and helping Wesley out with a sympathetic look. "Sorry, she's just being overly worried and protective again. It's fine."
-
"Okay. I'm sorry if I'm an inconvenience for your family.."
-
Lucas shook his head. "No, you're definitely not! My dad is very much fine with you staying, and I know my mom will warm up more soon. She's just not used to strangers."
-
"Okay," Wesley said. "I just don't want to be a burden."
-
"You aren't, Wes. I love having you here." He smiled, sitting on the bed again and waving him over.
-
Wes smiled softly. "Alright," he said, sitting on the bed.
-
"Tired?" Lucas asked, cuddling in the covers.
-
Wesley shrugged. "Not really.."
-
"Me either." Lucas said simply.
-
Wesley smiled. "What do you want to do?"
-
"Whatever you want to do." He smiled back. "I just like being with you."
-
Wesley smiled. "Well, last night was pretty fun." he said, blushing a bit.
