How anime moved into the United States
What is anime and manga? And how did it move and change the United States? Anime is a style of Japanese film in television for adults, teens, and children. The same goes for manga, which is a style of Japanese comic books and graphic novels. Basically both anime and manga was made for anyone when it comes to age. Of course, both also originated from Japan, but the inspiration actually came from the United States. America!
Osamu Tezuka, a Japanese animator, was one of the people inspired by the one and only Walt Disney, who was an American cartoonist well known during the 20th century. Tezuka made his own catoons with his own style and many people noticed the difference between American cartoons and Japanese cartoonsanime. Tezuka released Astro Boy and it was the first anime aired overseas. Astro Boy was first seen in US television in 1663. This made him the father of manga and anime.
Also, Walt Disney drew patriotic topics on the World War I. Anime and manga was used to influence people. Manga originated from scrolls way back in the 12th century. It was read from right to left and till this day, they still are. The people made comic strips filled with propaganda. With this, this helped motivate people and use against their enemies and other countries. In the United States, Walt Disney used propaganda and training films for the military as well. Thus, anime and manga evolved during the World War II. -
