Chapter 1
Moon surveyed the area. There was no sign of the foxes. The foxes, obviously, where a group of foxes called the Nightriders. Their leader, Mandrey, despised the wolves with all his being. The reason why, Moon did not know. Ever since Mandrey had risen to power 10 years ago, the foxes have been at war with the wolves. The wolves did not like war, but the foxes love war. Occasionally, one group of foxes would fight another group, but that wasnt what was happening right now.
He cringed. He looked down. He had cut his paw during his escape. He looked around for a clearing. There wasnt any in his line of sight.
He tripped, uttering a curse under his breath.
At least he had lost the foxes that had been chasing him.
That was a small victory considering he had lost Moonstar. She had been his Lieutenant, and also his den mate, and had been caught at the beginning of the ambush.
The ambush had been set up by the wolves. Their mission had been to meet with Thornfang, who had been a spy in the fox city of Blandur. The day they had arrived, they had found Thornfang dead by the entrance.
Moon should have known then that their mission had failed. But no, he had continued into the city and was ambushed by a group of 15 foxes. They had fought hard, but when the dust cleared, 7 foxes lay dead, as well as his two warriors, Bloodfur and Sharpclaw, and Moonstar had been captured. He had been forced to retreat, chased by 5 foxes.
He cursed again, to think not 30 minutes ago, he had been a general and now, he was a refugee.
He thought of Moonstar again and how hungry she must be, sitting in a fox prison, probably starving, cold, and on the floor crying. But then he corrected himself. She would never cry. Personally, he had never seen her cry.
He shook himself. He had to focus.
Now he had a challenge ahead of him, and, normally, he loved a good challenge, but this one made him shudder. He only had one thing to figure out: How to rescue Moonstar. -
goddess, I might be too late now, but I changed my mind about not soaping
-
ok, no soap for me tonight, whatever

Chapter 2
Moonstar was huddling in the corner of her cell. She had just eaten her midday meal (of what she could tell).
It had been a rat. It wasnt a moose, but it was enough to keep her alive.
She was in the city of Blandur, the prison level.
If she could just get out of her cell, she could could.
She uttered a curse. Even if she could get out of her cell, there was at least a mile to the exit, not to mention all of those guards..
Just then, the door to her cell opened. Out stepped Mandrey.
Hello, Moonstar Mandrey said with a sneer. I see that my warriors where more than you and that pitiful wolf you call a den mate could handle.
She backed against the wall. You only caught us by surprise she said. If we would have known.
Then what?!?!?!? Mandrey snapped back. You didnt know, and that is all that matters. Now, the reason I came. Where is your base hidden? Tell me, and Ill let you go. Stay quiet, and die. I will give you some time to think, Maggot, but when I get back, if you have not chosen by then, I will kill you.
He was walking out of the room when he said And dont expect your precious Moon to rescue you either, I have four battalions stationed around your cell
Then he slammed the door behind himself.
Moon Moonstar muttered, looking out of the barred window where are you? -
Huh? I was reading his story haha
