Chris stuck out her tounge at Sango before heading up the creaking steps to the entryway. "Well, then I guess we better put these rumors to rest." she smiled, pushing open the door and walking inside.
-
Sango rolled her eyes at Chris, following, turning slightly to make sure Sydney was following.
-
Taking a deep breath, Sydney shuffled after her friends.
-
Sango looked around the big main room, taking everything in, mostly the placement of items and doors. She might not believe in the rumors, but it never hurt to be safe.
-
"Well this isn't so bad. Little chilly, but not bad." Chris mused, picking up a glass vase that sat by a closed door. Sydney, on the other hand, had a bad feeling about the house. Of course, she had a bad feeling about most things. "We came, we saw, we should leave."
-
"Let's just have a short look around, then leave." Sango nodded, glancing over at the stairs. "But I don't think we should go upstairs."
-
Sydney nodded, stealing glanced at the front door every few minutes. "Alright, but first we should-" she was cut off by a crash from down the right hallway.
-
"What was that?" Sango asked, turning to the sound.
-
"Probably gravity." Chris replied, "I'll go check it out." It wasn't until she was out of site that Sydney remembered what she had began to say. Alright, but first we should.....make sure we don't get separated.
-
Sango sighed, watching Chris walk off.
-
"Should we follow her?" Sydney asked, turning to face Sango.
-
"I..don't know. I guess." Sango shrugged.
-
"Okay, then we can-sweetmarrymotherofgodwhatthehellisthat!" Standing not ten feet away from the two girls was what looked like a rejected horror movie monster. Misshappen head, uneven eyes, a mouth of razor sharpe death, and a body that deemed to decompose with every step it took.
-
Sango spun around, eyes wide staring at the monster. "The.."
-
Letting out a deafening screech, the creature began charging towards the two. For it's size and structure, it moved very fast. Sydney wasted no time at all before turning and running away.
