  Sorry if this goes in literature, but I'm more likely to get a response here.
  Also- criticism should be constructive.
  
  The man looked in the caulk-edged mirror as he hand mixed the cream in the bowl, careful not to let it fall in the sink. He lathered it onto his stubbled face, and glided the straight edged razor across where the white was. Thirty minutes was to go in this process. When done, the man put the bowl on his counter and proceeded to put a new day's clothes on. The olive-colored overalls went on, along with a plain, white, button-shirt. Slid the alpaca wool socks on and made his attempt to fit the size-to-small boots on. The man walked over to his cot and sat down, taking a picture of a woman from the bedside table. "Love," he whispered under his breath. "I will find you". As the man took his pick and walked out the door for a mile long walk for the mines. At the end of this day he made two more American dollars. Another step closer to the train ride to Ontario. Where "love" was.
  
  
  I'm not a big fan of romanticism, so I tried to keep it as non-overt as possible. Unfortunately I HAD to include some, since that's the literary genre we're studying. Anyways, this was rushed (due Monday) so I need a critique to avoid an F.
