Nn.. So much stuff to do.... None of which productive in the slightest.

Falling leaves, so falls my heart.
Never had a chance to revive..
I wonder now if I can take it back,
so maybe all of us can survive.
I'd fall with the leaves,
and hit the ground,
and the force could shatter my spine.
You'd fall with me,
but never hit,
and just fall into line.
The elements are against us, dear.
It just wasn't meant to be..
Still you and I, we're both so twisted.
Just not enough to breathe.
This world falls
into empty space.
Seems everyone's falling now.
This one season,
brutally snapping,
pushes us all into the clouds.
But the birds don't even welcome us,
they aim to tear out our eyes.
Hold on to me so I can see the end,
and I can finish my goodbyes.
The earth,
quickly approaching..
Do you mind if we meet soon?
This is all
I can ask of you-
to forgive me for your wounds.
None of this is as it should be,
but what really ever is?
Nothing illustrates the relief I feel
as we close that last mile and hit.
No,
maybe it's not tragedy.
Perhaps a frightful dream.
But nothing feels better
than the numbness
that comes to me when I bleed.

This season is the end of us,
such a cruel, beautiful autumn. -
