Bow-tie pasta with italian sausage and whatever suitable vegetables I can find to saute.

That sounds hard.

It's pretty easy. The hardest part is making sure I don't take all the color out of the vegetables cooking them. Then it's not as pretty when it's done.

So this has become me,
or rather,
I have become it.
Of all these names,
and this has been the sweetest.
Don't miss me,
though the issue would never rise,
for I fear this alias will soon
swallow me and drown out all that I am.
This name which has long lost
it's master and drifts along
and it becomes a destination within me.
Some place quiet,
somewhere along the line
between desperation
and isolation.
My sentence, my life,
I asked for this.
I'd begged and cried.
I lost myself to the mask
and still managed to present my face
in this unholy way.
They call me a murderer,
they call me a liar,
they call me a vampire,
and these all become places for me
to visit
and drag to the surface
with a tearing of flesh
to build a map along my skin.
Blood and bone and screaming,
and is this how you want me to carry myself?
A living threshold,
the epitome of all that I am against.
I'll wage war against myself
to expel these names that I have become,
or perhaps that have become me,
and faked my entire life
for your eyes.
