I'm terrified of dying. But for what it's worth, you could survive with me. Mutti and I have plans in case of emergency. -

Well most of the options was either stay with a friend and die or move on yourself in dark, suspicious places. -
xD I suppose. It wasn't about being a good person, though. It was about whether or not you'd survive, and sometimes, being human doesn't factor into that. What would you do if you heard a noise? You'd probably say you wouldn't send anyone else to look, because that's sacrifice of someone close to you, but in a horror movie, the one who initially goes down to look is typically the one who gets slaughtered, and whoever sent them goes down to see where they went, finds them dead... And then ultimately survives.
And when escaping an attacker, I wouldn't suggest going upstairs.. Then you're trapped.
