Tess looked up and said "Hi" then saw fangs. "Vampire..." she thought.

'woa' i thought. 'is this really happening?' "wats ur name?" i asked. "peeta" he said. "i'm mandaliah. this is my best friend, tess." i told him. even though he didnt say much i felt a burst of some emotion i havent felt since i was alive.

Tess screamed and got the vampire off. The vampire flung to the ground and Tess grabbed her stuff and ran inside. Tess looked in a mirror and saw a small scratch on her neck. She sighed and quickly went to class.

"tess! tess!" i said waiting for reply. "tess why did she attack you?" i look over to see the woman jumping tree to tree. 'shes one of us' i think.
