I lay down and covered my face with my hands. I couldn't believe it. The sun felt warm on me.

She shifted back into her half-breed form, her eyes watching him "...Um, I never caught..your name."

"Jasper Hellarkey," I mumbled into my hands.

She nodded, feeling awkward. She reached for her pendent on the ground, it was a simple silver rose on a black ribbon, and put it on, going back to a normal Vampire form.

I didn't look at her. I got up and walked to the tree my back pack was in.

She stayed quiet, wondering what to do now. -
I jumped up and got the backpack. I hung onto the branch and placed my feet on the branch below me.

"So..."She said, trying to break the silence.

I looked down at her. "Yes?"

"Well...You don't seem visably disgusted.."

I looked up at the clouds. "That's because I'm confused."

"Confused..?"She asked.

"I don't understand, exactly. How are you a half breed? I can't smell any wolf coming from you..." I stared down at her.
