"Down in the gorge, yes. I'm part of Sky clan."He said proudly, puffing out his chest.

"Cool. What's Clan life like?" Lola asked.

Midnight nodded, wondering the same thing.

"Humm, well, it's fun, there are alot of other cats there, so if your lonely, there's always someone beside you. We have a medicine cat, two actually. Freckleshine and Echosong. And a Leader, who makes all big decisions. She's Leafstar."He said, suddenly excited.

That sounded fun. "S-so you don't eat other cats?" Lola had heard rumors that clan cats ate other cats, especially their kits.

She nodded again, "And if you don't, what do you eat?"

"No."He said, flattening his ears "Why would you think that?"
He turned to midnight, yellow eyes bright "Birds mostly. Some cats can catch fish, and then there's the ones who can catch mice like me and Ebonyclaw."He said his mentor's name proudly. -

"Someone told me..." Lola looked down, embarrassed.

"It's okay Lola, I'm sure there are lots of rumors that are at least somewhat true." Midnight said, "And I'm sure there ar alot of rumors that they believe about housecats."

"Hummm."He said, then remembered the story Plumwhisker had told her kittens, Goldenkit and Fawnkit "Do you all go to the cutter?" He asked.

"Cutter?" Lola thought for a moment. "Not yet..."

"Cutter? What's that?" she asked, having absolutly no idea as to what it could be.

"The twoleg that makes...you unable to have kittens."He said nervously, looking back and forth as if he expected one to come and take him away.
