I smiled. "Oh." I looked towards the front of the room. I knew I wasn't going to be able to concentrate on class.

"Dang, so you can actually speak French?"

"Oui, Oui je le peux. Je ne sais mme pas pourquoi j'ai choisi cette classe .. peut-tre parce que ce serait facile?" I smiled.

I completely zoned out. I was just staring at her.

I smiled even more. "Qui, bien sr, j'y ai vcu la moiti de ma vie, alors pourquoi ne pas apprendre la langue? Je veux dire, je savais anglais avant j'ai appris le franais, mais quand mme ... Je voulais communiquer avec ma mre. Ce qui, videmment, elle n'a jamais su anglais, donc maintenant je dois traduire tout terrifi par elle me veut aussi ... Dieu, pourquoi suis-je ranting en franais?" I giggled.

I blinked a couple times and shook my head. "What?"

"Never mind that. I was just talking about some of my past and some other stuff. Just ranting, that's all."

I nodded. I might be in French but the only thing I knew was that 'Oui' meant 'Yes'.
