I woke up that morning, excited. The big game was tonight and I couldn't wait.

I woke up, and stretched. I sighed. Today was the first day of a new school, a new start.

I hopped out of bed and got ready for school. I walked downstairs and had some cereal, chatting with my mom.

I got ready, and ate some waffles. I petted Neko, my beautiful midnight black cat, and washed everything when I was done. I went outside, locked the door, and drove off to school in my black Cadillac.

I looked at my watch. "Time to go." I got up and kissed my mom on the cheek. "See ya, Mom." I walked outside, grabbing my backpack along the way. I got into my blue F-150 and drove to school.

I parked, and got out of the car. I bit my lip. There was a lot of preppy people here... A girl with a pink tubetop looked at me, and pretended to throw up by putting her finger in her mouth. I sighed. Just another stereotypical snobbed-up high school. I entered, ignoring the laughter, the weird looks, and the jokes about my looks.

I pulled into the parking lot. My jock buds immediately swarmed my truck with their cheerleader girlfriends. I sighed before getting out, preparing myself for their teasing of my singleness. My friends were awesome but sometimes they got a little annoying. I walked out and gave all my buddies hi-fives.

I looked back, and saw a jock exit a blue truck. He looked dreamy... "Too dangerous for me. He probably won't like me anyways..." I sighed, and went to the office.

"So, Jake, you still lonely?" I scowled at Brandon. "Why do you give a s--- about my relationships?" "Or lack there of," whispered Britney. Everybody laughed and I chuckled a little.

I was halfway to the office until I noticed I had left everything in the car. I sighed angrily, and ran out to my car, humiliating myself deeply. Especially since my car was beside the blue F-150.

I joked back and forth with Brandon and Jeff and tackled Matt at one point. We were still wrestling when some girl I had never seen before ran by.
