my eyes widened when I saw my father punch sophie, my mother just stood there and watched, I hated them both, I really wanted sophie to just try to escape

I saw my mother come towards us, her face scared me, she was like, evil, I was really scared, and upset, "sophie, please try to escape before they could hurt us badly" I quietly said, I was kind of begging her to, I couldn't hide my emotions anymore -

I didn't know if they both heard or not, I just hope sophie wouldn't end up getting badly hurt, I didn't know if I should use my powers or not
