Mizua squealed, grabbing tightly ahold of Mara, who had started to run. -
Wut? .-.
One of the men saw them, and aimed. He shot once...twice...hoping for the best. Hadanaka sat perfectly still. She didn't twitch, she didn't blink, she didn't even breathe. -
Random crazy men.xD
One missed but the other got Mara in the shoulder. He tumbled to the ground, and Mizua fell beside him, eyes wide. -

The man smiled, aiming and preparing to shoot again. He dropped the gun one second later, looking down at the large stick sticking out of his lower abdomen. The rest of the men, being the scaredy cats they were, ran away. They'd finish the job another day. -
Mara sat up carefully, looking over at Mizua who was still in shock, her hands tightly clinging to her dress.

Hadanaka walked over to the siblings, and looked down at them. "You okay?" Of course she could see that they weren't, but she figured it was only polite to ask.

"Mara.."Mizua looked over at her brother.
"Ow, I'm pretty sure I need a doctor.."He murmered. -
She looked over at the old man and his dog. He had his cell phone out, and was talking to the police. "Right. Help on way."

Mara looked at his arm and groaned.

After waiting a while sirens could be heard in the distance. They got louder and louder and finally ambulances and police cars surrounded the park.

Mizua sat there, and so did Mara, seeing as they couldn't really do much else

A couple paramedics came over and started working on Mara's shoulder. While they did that, a police man came over and asked them some questions.

Mizua watched them work on her brother, her dress still tightly in her fists. She was crying now.

Hadanaka sat next to Mizua, reached in her pocket, and handed her a tissue. "You're fine. Brother fine, too."

Mizua nodded slowely, and took the tissue, wiping her eyes.
