You're not being selfish by saying you can't date someone who has feelings for someone else. That's just the truth. It would put everyone through hell, an it's not worth it. Love is not black and white. There's tons of grays and in-betweens. There's no definite right and wrong. It's different based on your views, but you're making the right choice. He's just being horrible about it.
