Okay
1. A side of unsliced bacon was once known as a flitch
2. The term bacon on its own suggests the more common back bacon, but can refer to any cut.
3. Slices from the pork belly (with streaks of meat and of fat) are referred to as streaky bacon, streaky rashers or belly bacon.
4. Fresh bacon may then be further dried for weeks or months in cold air, boiled, or smoked. Fresh and dried bacon must be cooked before eating.
Its not really the history its just mainly facts, I guess -

Well once I was eating a cookie underneath a tree. Then I saw a squirrel and offered it a cookie. So it was getting closer to me when it bit my head and took my cookie.
Ever since then I vowed never to offer a cookie to a squirrel -
