Lilli was so excited. She couldn't wait to tell May.
Thomas hoped he had asked before Dare did. -
while riding May saw Lilli and Thomas and rode up to them beside Dare smiling from ear to ear
Dare watched Thomas approach and wondered if he had already asked Lilli -
"May!" Lilli called with excitement.
Thomas grinned devilishly when he saw Dare. -
May smiled and waved happy to see Lilli so smilly
Dare chuckled under his breath and then noticed something both the girls were going to witness the bribe the two guys had made and he knew it wouldnt end well -
"Guess who asked me to the ball!"
Thomas realized this too, and cast a warning glance at Dare. -
"guess what?? were both going then because Dare asked me to the ball too im so happy for you and Thomas"
Dare noticed the glance and gave a knowing glance to Thomas -
Lilli squealed with excitement. "This is gonna be so fun!"
Thomas nodded, keeping quiet. -
May giggled and nodded then turned and saw the guys werent as excited
Dare saw May look over and proceded to smile -
Lilli looked at Thomas. "Are you okay?"
Thomas tried to smile. -
May continued to wonder what was going on with the guys and whispered to Lilli, "whats going on with those two??"
Dare stood off to the side and just watched as the girls conversed -
"I don't know, they seem... Strange."
Thomas bit his lip, knowing they were going to find out, and hoping they wouldn't take it the wrong way. -
"i know its like they are hiding something"
Dare tried to think of a way to change the subject and then he had the perfect idea. walking forward he said, "so what are you two fine ladies going to wear to the ball??" hoping his plan would work he gave a soft smile -
Lilli felt suspicious, but didn't want to be rude. "You'll see, it's a surprise."
Thomas could tell they knew something was off. -
May smiled and couldnt wait to show Lilli the dress she was going to wear even though she knew something was up
Dare smiled and tried to play it cool -
Lilli decided to drop it for now. "Shall we go to my house May? I'd love to show you my dress. Why don't you get yours, and meet me there?"
Thomas welcomed this excuse to go. "I'll see you three at the ball then, shall I?"
