Madison walked down the sidewalk of the quiet neighborhood. School was finally out. -
Yuki took a bite of his snack, heading over to the library, in need of some books.

"I can't believe he said that." Tamara muttered, kicking a rock off a neighboor's driveway into the street. "It's not like I'd known what his plans were, and I didn't ask for much."

She turned the corner, continuing down the street. She'd taken a different route home today.

After getting his books, he headed back home. The usual path was blocked for construction, so he found an alternative.

"Well, I suppose that's that. Nothing I can much do to change his mind." she sighed, blowing a strand of hair out of her face, and headed toward home.

She frowned, shifting the weight of her backpack a bit and sighing, thinking of the massive amount of homework she had.
