I heard a noise. I went to investigate it.

Jegero sat silently in the meadow of her pack's territory. They lived in a huge forest- so they were lucky the leader, Maru, had planted all of the beautiful flowers and herbs for them to see. The sweet perfumes of the plants surrounding her soothed her. She could doze off right there if there weren't beasts that would come and eat her. She wouldn't let herself sleep- still, the smell of it all numbed her a bit.
