The Fear

Slowly it connsums me,
Knowing my secret,
It can't just let me be,
Will I be able to keep it?

The fear of them knowing,
All those things I've said,
All of it showing,
Would make their faces go red,

Would I be beaten to a pulp?
And bruised and battered?
Or will I choke on my blood in gulps?
And my clothes torn and tattered?

Or would they understand me,
And accept me for who I am,
The fear is making me not see,
The posibilites that can.
