I walked up slowly. "Might I ask what is going on here?" I tried not to sound suspicious, just casual. -

I narrowed my eyes. "Not to be rude missy, but you say somethin' like that to a Federal Marshal, and it can get you into trouble." I wasn't trying to scare her, but I whenever someone gave me an answer like that, it usually meant they were up to no good.
